The 2030 Big Three

Baylin Trujillo Says Gavin Pritzkau, Kai Goodling, and Walker Motley Are Leading Central Florida’s Next Generation of Elite Quarterbacks

Most freshmen are still adjusting to the speed of varsity football. But for three Central Florida quarterbacks in the Class of 2030, the future is already happening on Friday nights.

Gavin Pritzkau (CFCA), Kai Goodling (Apopka), and Walker Motley (South Lake) are three names quarterback trainer Baylin Trujillo believes could become some of Florida’s most talked-about prospects over the next several years.

Trujillo, who has trained all three for more than eight years, sees something familiar in this group. He compares them to his loaded 2026 quarterback class featuring Noah Grubbs, Brady Hart, and Darian Coleman.

“My 2030 class reminds me a lot of that 2026 class with the three-headed monster,” Trujillo said.

Gavin Pritzkau: The Next Noah Grubbs?

Of the three, Pritzkau might have received Trujillo’s biggest endorsement.

The Central Florida Christian Academy quarterback has been playing varsity football since eighth grade and continues to put up impressive numbers. Through nine games in 2026, Pritzkau has thrown for 2,335 yards and 24 touchdowns, helping lead CFCA to a 7-2 record entering postseason competition.

“He’s my next like Noah Grubbs,” Trujillo said. “That kid has got everything.”

For Trujillo, it isn’t just the statistics. Pritzkau’s football intelligence, competitive nature, and ability to command an offense have separated him from other young quarterbacks. Maxpreps

Kai Goodling: Changing the Offense at Apopka

Apopka has traditionally been known for its physical, run-heavy approach. But freshman Kai Goodling is giving the Blue Darters another dimension.

Trujillo admits he initially wasn’t sure how Goodling would fit into Apopka’s offensive system. That uncertainty quickly disappeared once the coaching staff began utilizing his arm talent.

Goodling has recorded 975 passing yards and nine passing touchdowns through nine games according to MaxPreps, including a three-touchdown passing performance in Apopka’s 35-0 victory over Wekiva.

His emergence has demonstrated what can happen when a young quarterback gets an opportunity to showcase his ability at the varsity level.

Walker Motley: Opportunity Meets Preparation

At South Lake, Walker Motley’s opportunity arrived unexpectedly.

Playing behind senior quarterback Tre Kelly, Motley wasn’t necessarily expected to take over varsity duties this early. However, an injury to Kelly opened the door, and the freshman stepped into the spotlight.

Motley has shown flashes of his potential, including a two-touchdown passing performance against Lake Minneola.

For Trujillo, that moment represented years of preparation meeting an opportunity that few freshmen receive.

Three Names College Coaches Should Remember

What makes this trio special isn’t simply their talent. It’s the experience they’re gaining before most athletes in their graduating class have even established themselves at the high school level.

“I’ve had all three for eight plus years,” Trujillo explained.

That familiarity gives him confidence in their long-term potential.

“I think it’s them and everybody else, especially in Central Florida, if not the entire state of Florida,” Trujillo said.

It’s a bold statement, especially for freshmen. But Trujillo has watched their development long before the varsity lights.

With three more high school seasons ahead, Pritzkau, Goodling, and Motley have an opportunity to turn early production into recruiting attention, championships, and potentially national recognition.

The Class of 2030 might be years away from signing day, but according to Baylin Trujillo, its next generation of elite quarterbacks has already arrived.
